Hey beautiful people. Last week, Keanna wrote about what we are trying to do with our regular segment called Treat Eat and Cheat of the week. If you didn’t see it, we are basically just taking a moment to give a little shout-out to the things that brought us a little joy this week.
I must admit that I have been battling the worst cold that I have ever had while struggling to meet deadlines after almost three weeks of vacation. However, I have found that taking a moment to be grateful for little pleasures is an important part of my self-care routine. So without further ado, here are my Treat, Eat, and Cheat of the Week!
Treat of the Week
This one is easy. Today is Keanna’s birthday and just like people do #WCW/WCE, I would like to say that Keanna is my treat of the week every week.
While some of you don’t believe it, we are not a couple but I do believe she is my friend soulmate. She has talked me back from the ledge, comforted me when I was down, and turned up with me at celebrations. She is CLEARLY the more understated of the two of us and keeps me grounded.
I’m not drinking at the moment, but I will make an imaginary toast to a beautiful, witty, and graceful person! Here’s to many many more beautiful years together.
Eat of the Week

This is what Trader Joe’s has to say about their Thai Lime & Chili Cashews. Technically, I did not have them this week, but almost always have them on hand as they are so good. I wish they were spicier, but the flavors are balanced and nuanced. Exactly what I look for in a snack.
Cheat of the Week
So, like many of you, I am not at my ideal weight. It is something that I have struggled with for a couple years now, but am finally getting serious about. It starts with cutting out booze and sugary drinks. Shocker! I know. It isn’t forever, but until I knock off some pounds. But for some reason, I hate drinking water and tend to opt for teas with honey.
To get some flavor in my water without adding sugars, I have been using the AquaFrut Bottom Loading Fruit Infuser Water Bottle and have become obsessed again. Just load up with your favorite fruits and herbs, let sit, and enjoy.
